We are looking for a Squirrels volunteer to help support our growing section.

You don’t need special skills. Just kindness, patience and a sense of fun.

An hour a week can make a huge difference to local children.

Training and support provided. Flexible commitment available.

If you’re curious, send us a message. We’d love to talk.

“One of the best things we’ve done for our child.”

We often hear from parents that Scouts has helped their child come out of their shell, make new friends and develop confidence.

We see it too. The quiet child who volunteers first. The nervous child who tries something new. The proud smile when a badge is awarded.

That’s why we do what we do.

Squirrels might be small, but they are mighty.

In Squirrels, children learn to:
• Take turns
• Follow simple instructions
• Try new activities
• Build friendships
• Grow independence

It’s a gentle introduction to the wider Scouts family and a fantastic confidence boost before moving into Beavers.

We have spaces available now. Send us a message to find out more
