New Squirrels Drey Opening in April – Applications Now Open

The 5th Potters Bar Scout Group is excited to announce the opening of its new Squirrels Drey in April 2026 for children aged 4 and 5. This marks an important expansion of early-years Scouting in the area, creating more opportunities for young children to begin their skills-for-life journey.

The new Drey will offer fun, age-appropriate activities each week, giving young people a chance to build confidence, make new friends, and get involved in creative play and outdoor learning. Sessions have been designed to feel welcoming, inclusive, and full of energy, helping children take their first steps into the wider Scouting family.

Applications for places are now open. Demand is expected to be high, so families interested in joining the first cohort are encouraged to register early.

The launch of this Drey strengthens local Scouting and reflects the continued growth of 5th Potters Bar. It also supports the district’s wider commitment to increasing opportunities for young people across all age ranges.
